A fisherman caught a carp-monster in the UK.
An ordinary fisherman found the biggest carp ever caught in the UK a 50-kilogram fish. 54-year-old Warren Harrison noted that this is the biggest catch in his entire life.
The fisherman travelled 2,580 miles across Europe to catch this particular fish. The length of the caught carp is one and a half meters. According to Express, this carp is in third place in size among all caught fish of these species in the history of fishing.
Harrison said that he had heard stories for a long time, according to which a large carp lives in Hanger Lake, and no one can fish it. However, the man refused to believe in this story until he became the owner of this catch.
The fisherman said that when it started biting and he could not pull the fish out, the first thought was that there is a trouble with a hook. “I tried to pull it out, but soon realised that something was moving. For more than half an hour I tried to fish this monster, but it resisted with such force that I was completely wet with my sweat”, Harrison added.
It should note that at this point there was a sub-zero temperature on the street. The man finally managed to get the fish. To carry her to the scales the fisherman needed the help of a friend. The weight of the fish was 46 kg.” I failed to break the world record. Nevertheless, for me it is still the greatest achievement,”- said the fisherman.
The world record belongs to the Czech fisherman Thomas Crist, who caught a 48 kg carp in Hungary.
