Here, some people shared their exciting experiences in the lakeside camping :
Decrog from Birmingham, UK:
“A great place to relax, and a great place to play! I have stopped many times in this place for camping or in a hut. The site is beautiful, the lake is clean and reachable, and the local neighbourhood is not spoiled. Last time I spent only one week on the spot and liked it madly. The amenities are always clean, and the local office sells delicious ice cream, milk and eggs.”
Martin from Hanwood, UK:
“We used to come to Bala since 1983, for windsurfing, and we remember the place when there was nothing here yet, and it cost 50 p per night! They made a beautiful campsite with a clean and tidy shower area, and as others said, the excellent lateral location at the side of the lake, where you can make a campfire by the lake. My only problem is that I paid £ 17. 5 per night and having to pay £ 20, booking (stopping for two nights), not a refundable deposit, we still had to pay 50 p for the shower at this price. They should include it.”
Nicole from North Wales, UK:
“Another great vacation in this treasure! Just back from our second trip of the year to Pant Yr Onnen. Such a beautiful place and wonderful, and the kind owners give it an advantage over other campsites. It’s such beautiful here that you feel so relaxed and benevolent. A delightful family holiday for anyone, in the most beautiful environment. Simply gorgeous! We cannot wait to return!”
Stacey from UK:
“We stayed here for two nights, which, from Friday to Sunday, were too short. The camping was beautiful; we lived in a place opposite the lake. The owners were lovely, and very cordially received us! The shower and toilet were spotless! We will come here again.”
Rich from London, UK:
“Located right on the shore of the lake, this camping was ideal for us. Shoots at the beach and alcohol made a good evening, although a cold wind can blow from the lake. The place was clean, tidy and well cared for and the whole staff is friendly and helpful.”
Conclusion: One of the top places for outdoor activities
If you are especially fond of outdoor activities such as fishing, kayaking, canoeing or sailing? Then this campsite is ideal for you, for it is right by the lake itself! It is a special place for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of nature. The area is tidy, no disturbing, attractive, and the owners are helpful, as a plus.
