The site is beautiful, the lake is clean and reachable, and the local neighbourhood is not spoiled. Last time I spent only one week on the spot and liked it madly. “We used to come to Bala since 1983, for windsurfing, and we remember the place when there was nothing here yet, and it cost 50 p per night! They made a beautiful campsite with a clean and tidy shower area, and as others said, the excellent lateral location at the side of the lake, where you can make a campfire by the lake. My only problem is that I paid £ 17. 5 per night and having to pay £ 20, booking (stopping for two nights), not a refundable deposit, we still had to pay 50 p for the shower at this price. They should include it.”
