Loch Shin is a glacial lake (reservoir) in the north part of Scotland, south of the Larg town. The area is 21.5 km² and the maximum depth is 129 m. The maximum length is about 27 km.
In the lake, there are such fish as, pike, perch, carp, trout. In 1950, the level of the lake was raised by 10 meters as a result of the construction of the hydroelectric dam.
