The composition of the boilies consists of the following main components: flour, dry milk, cereals and eggs. Mixing this with various additional elements that satisfy the taste needs of fish, you can get many recipes for boilies and cook them yourself.
How to prepare balls to catch carp?
The technology of their preparation is universal and consists of the following actions:
- Firstly, all dry components are combined, then all liquids.
- Mix the dough, adding to the dry mixture some liquid, the money should not gradually become sticky and should reach a dense consistency.
- Put the dough in a polyethene bag, after half an hour it will become ductile.
- Divide the dough into small pieces. We make sausage from each part. The diameter is about 1 cm.
- Cut the sausages so that you make the cubes. If there is a particular table for the formation of boilies, layout sausages on it and make balls out of them. If not, we form the boilies manually.
- We roll a ball out of each cube.
- Then we boil them for 2 minutes in boiling water (you can put them in a colander and drop it into boiling water in a pan until the balls rise to the surface) or put them in the microwave.
- We put the balls on a flat surface so that they do not touch each other; this is important after cooking and dry them for a day.
- Keep boilies in the refrigerator in a sealed bag.
Recipe of bread bowls
To cook bread bowls you will only need:
A chunk of melted cheese, a half loaf of black bread, ideally the food needs to be very fresh.
So, let’s start cooking. The crusts of bread should better be cut, leaving only a crumb. Crumb needs to be split into small pieces and well mixed with the melted cheese until it reaches a homogeneous mass.
The result of these actions should be cheese-bread dough, which absolutely must have a similar consistency. Then from your dough, you should mould some «sausages» that should be about 1 cm in diameter. After that, cut «sausages» into cubes with a size of 1 * 1 cm. From these cubes, you need to roll balls that will become bowls in the future.
To keep preparing bowls, you will need frying, which should be placed on the stove and be heated. After that, pour some vegetable oil on it. It would be even better; if your oil is natural, unrefined, in this case, it emits a scent similar to the sunflower seeds.
As soon as you notice that the oil starts to boil, put cheese-bread balls in it. The time for frying should be about 2 – 2.5 minutes. Then you should take out these balls and place them on paper towels; they will absorb the excess oil like that.
Then you have two options: the first one is to dry some bowls. Then they will become hard and will have a crust on them pretty soon. And the second one – you can shift them in a jar and pour the remaining oil into it. These bowls will become soft.
Solid bowls are perfect for hairy riggings; soft one you can quickly put directly on the hook. Both of them can be used for feeding.
Bread for fishing – 5 different ways of cooking
As a rule, the bread for baiting is used for catching fish of the carp family. This nozzle seems pretty banal, but although there are some nuances in its preparation. The primary goal is to ensure that the nozzle will firmly hold on the hook and create the maximum attraction for fish.
Now I will give you several ways of making bread for fishing.

Mix the crumb of the bread with vegetable oil. After doing this, you need to crush it with cotton wool flakes. The received nozzle will behave pretty fixedly on your hook; it is difficult for knocking down both for the fish and for the underwater flow.

Mix your breadcrumb with cottonseed, hemp or linseed oil. After that, put it down into boiling water for 30 seconds. Like that we will have a viscous mass that has a flavour that attracts fish and sits on the hook pretty firmly.

Start with moistening the breadcrumb in water, then put it in a thin rag and squeeze for a while. After that, press bread with your fingers, while trying to reduce the excess water in it. In the end, you will have a mixture with elastic consistency. To put it on your hook, break off a small piece of it and roll a ball. You need to attach it so that the hook switch is not visible.

First of all, take a crumb of wheat bread and moisten it in water. Squeeze it with the help of the veil and crumble it on a plate. There you should mix it with the peeled potatoes (boiled) in the equal proportion. Mix it until it reaches a homogeneous mass. Then you need to add vegetable oil in this mixture, and one more time you should mix it all. Finally, the nozzle will acquire a milky white shade and gain the right firmness and density.

From a mixture of rye flour or wheat flour, you need to knead the thick dough, in which you should add oil and honey. From all of it, you need to roll balls of the required size and boil them in boiling water. Like that, you will make dumplings. They are delightful for fish of the carp family.
A sound effect can be achieved when you mix the bread for fishing with flavour enhancers. For that purpose, you can use vanillin or replace it with some vegetable oils. Rancid vegetable oil has a pretty strong flavour. You can obtain that smell by doing the following things. Put the oil in an open vessel and place it in a position, so that they will be transparent to the sun rays for ten days.

Take two pieces of white bread (it can be rye bread) with a diameter of about 1 centimetre, cut the crusts from all sides.
Each loaf needs to be thickened by rolling it with a rolling pin from both sides.
Now you need to plaster on one loaf either honey, or condensed milk, or jam, or just sunflower oil and a little of garlic – decide on yourself.
Cover it with a second piece of rolled bread and slightly move it with a rolling pin one more time. Now, if you prepare bowls for carps, cupids or chubs, then you need to use five-cc syringes, but if you need to catch crucians, roaches, scrapers, rudds, or other carp fish, then you will use a two-cc syringe.
Squeeze out “bread pills” from a prepared flapjack with the aid of a syringe. Now, these “bread pills” (if you want, you can call them flapjacks) can be placed directly on the hook, you can even put several pieces at once – on the hair, like a bowl.
If it is a pond with standing water, then the nozzle like that keeps on the hook without dilapidating and falling off the hook for about an hour. But carps will approach to this nozzle much faster than to the bowl.
I spent the whole season in attempts of trying to catch carps on firmed bowls, and I did not see a single bite for the entire season (spring, summer, autumn), but the bread work without flaws!
