Lake Sava (Serbian: Savsko Jezero), often called Lake Ada, was created from the “right hand” of the river Sava with the construction of two dams near the northern and southern ends of the island in 1967. The length of the lake is 4.2 km; it has a width of 200 m (on average) and depths from 4 to 6 m. The banks on both sides were turned into a pebble beach. During the summer the water regularly reaches 24 ° C. People drink water from this lake.

The lake is under strict environmental protection. The use of motorboats is strictly prohibited, and dogs are not allowed to be on the beach. The wildlife there mainly consists of fish species that have been imported since the 1950s. The most common fish in the lake are carp and also here it is possible to catch a massive catfish weighing more than 100 kg (220 pounds).

The fact that such catfish are found here often causes concern among people who swim there. However, the authorities of the country assured people that they do not attack a person. In the lake, there are from 20 to 25 species of fish. There are also crabs and crawfish. Freshwater jellyfish Craspedacusta sowerbyi was discovered in 2008. These jellyfish are not dangerous and live only a few days.

At night the coaching staff returned from a trip to Serbia, Belgrade, Ada Tsigalia Lake, where the Carpfishing World Cup 2018 will be held.

The logistics issues of the team were solved, including accommodation in the training and competition period; they find out also some information: meetings were held with representatives of the Serbian side and some other events. The date of training camps is identified.
