The size of the bait can differ from 5 to 30 mm. The small quantities of the bait are more suitable for catching more careful or small carps.
The advantage of large boils is the fact, which when you use them, small fish is eliminated. In addition to that, from a big bowl, you can always create a few small lures.
The advantages of small bowls:
